Contractions are getting stronger. Beth winces when a strong one comes. She reports to her dad when one comes and he writes it in a notebook, while her mom says "Hon, she's having one! Quick write it down!"
LOL! I wish I could be there and help in the process somehow... like I could give Beth's Dad the pen to write down the time.
Oh, a stop watch is a wonderful tool at this point. That way you can tell Beth how many seconds into the contraction she is. I loved when Brian did that to me. Just make sure you don't say "almost half way" as you never know how long a contraction might be and you don't want Beth to be disappointed if it hasn't climaxed yet.
